Tommy Keys was born and raised in Letterkenny in 1945, growing up in a large car-obsessed family, he had no choice but to get into cars himself. Tommy fixed cars, drove cars and even for a while rallied cars! One thing Tommy noticed Donegal lacked was a real car dealership and so in 1972, Tommy opened Tommy Keys Car Sales. Originally selling Fiat for over 20 years the business grew and grew going from employing 10 people in 1972 to over 25 in 1995 when Tommy began selling the first of his now two Japanese brand cars, Mitsubishi. Tommy Keys Car sales became Hyundai in 2010 and hasn't looked back since, with the dealership now employing over 50 people and being voted Ireland's best Hyundai dealership in 2022!
